Holmes Pokawin, born 12th of October 1989 is a Musician from Papua New Guinea (PNG).
 
Holmes, who was greatly influenced by his dad started playing music as a Bass guitarist at the age of 13 in church. Since then, his love for music grew and by the end of grade 12 (2008) he was accepted into The University of Papua New Guinea to study Creative Arts (Music) in 2009.

Whilst at The University of Papua New Guinea he started learning and playing Jazz and The Papua New Guinea (PNG) Contemporary music with great influence from his late Lecturere Anthony Soru Subam.

He is now playing Bass for The Raun Haus Jazz Quintet Band, a second Bass player for the Sambra Aikit Band and a session Bass guitarist at the Melanessian Vibes Studios.
