Daniel William Fabila

Daniel Fabila, born 13th January 1987. Singer, Musician.

Daniel comes from a mixed parentage of Central (Kairuku), Milne Bay (Woodlark), Philippines, India and Western Australia. Growing up amidst a family that loves music so much, Daniel easily adapted the lifestyle of his parents and other siblings who take music as a passion. His first experiences started as a child when his dad played with our family band called the Jade Brothers. All their jams were so epic which inspired him to perform on stage and be an entertainer just like his dad and the band members.

Having to grow up with a Christian background, his parents started a gospel family singing group when he was about 12 years of age. This group was made up of his parents including his siblings. "The Fabila Family" would perform on stage at Church Services, big crusades and many other church gatherings. It was in 6th Grade at Sacred Heart Primary School that he discovered his potential as a Singer and Musician when he performed with his mum and younger sister in one of the school assembly. After the performance his class mates and teachers admired and adored his vocal abilities. It was the first time he felt such thrill of excitement and pride in himself. He never really believed he could make such an impression to others, especially the teachers. From that point on, he started to seriously take up vocal training and exercises to enhance and improve his Vocal ability. Over the years, he has been to several different competitions where he earned himself a spot in the semi-finals and grand finals and winning prizes. Ice PNG Idol hosted at Lamana Gold Club, Karaoke Idol and Rage Karaoke to name a few. He also participated in Ice Discovered and Digicel Stars where he passed the auditions and made it into the heats but got eliminated from there. The biggest heat for him so far as a Vocalist and Performer was in 2014 when he participated in Vocal Fusion, Season One where he made it to the Top 5 and got eliminated. The Top 4 was the actual grand finale. It was a great achievement and a big platform which really gave him the opportunity to show case his talent and discover a pool of fans who appreciated his vocal performances.

Apart from competitions, He has taken part with a band from Next Of Kins Productions called the Toniq Band and other bands with family and friends where he would join in and jam for fun at Clubs and functions.
