Buk bilong Pikinini would like to congratulate Iriani Wanma, 25 from Central Province for winning the BbP sponsored children's writing category within the 2014 Crocodile Awards. The winning entry is entitled "Oa Grasshopper and Kaipa Caterpillar" and is a story of friendship and transformation addressing the young audience of children coming to our libraries. BbP hopes to be able to continue to support Papua New Guineans to write for children and cannot wait to get this story onto our library shelves.
