Laurence GRUN is a journalist, writer, screenwriter and film director.

She is known for "Bargny, the real face of economic emergence - Bargny, ici commence l'émergence" (2018, Co-Director), "Mandarga" (2023, Co-Director).

Laurence studied journalism at ISFSC and political science at ULB (Brussels). She has resided for several months in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Senegal and France. She mainly covers social, economic and ecological issues through a political prism that views social relationships as a whole, from the local through to the transnational.

Several of her articles have already appeared on Médiapart, Lundi Matin, African Argumets, Reporterre, Equal Times, Alter Echos magazine, Le Soir or Le Souverain.
